3304216 - Unable to delete user type from setup

Unable to delete a user type in the system, receiving: Error Message "You can't delete the user type. There's a user defined for this user type."

SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ

1. Enter in Setup;
2. Under Users, enter User Type;
3. At any User Type, in the three dots, select Delete.

The User Type is associated with User or Permission Group.

Check Users and Permission Groups associated with the User Type, this can be done following these steps:

• For Users:

1. 1. Go to Setup Users -> Users;
   2. Filter the user list with user type which you need to delete;
   3. Check if there is user who belongs to user type which you need to delete;
   4. Check both active and inactive users;
   5. If there are users associated user type, Change the user type of the user.

• For Permission Groups:

1. 1. Go to Setup Users -> Users -> Permission Groups;
   2. Check if the permission group has User type as member;
   3. If yes remove the user type from member list.
