3304318 - Change number is mandatory by the command "Handover to Manufacturing" in Maintain Bill Of Material app

In Maintain bill of material app when clicking on the button "Handover to Manufacturing" the filed change number is mandatory.

1. Open Manage Bill of Material app
2. Enter a Material number
3. Click on Go
4. Select the material from the result list
5. Click on 'Handover to Manufacturing'
6. On the pop-up screen the field 'change number' is mandatory

The change number field is made mandatory in the pop-up that opens on click of 'Handover to Manufacturing', as per the initial standard design of the Maintain Bill of Material Fiori App.

This is not influenced by the customizing which can be maintained for history requirement for BOM (transaction OS25 or OS27). This change number field is always mandatory.

The change number field being mandatory in the pop-up that opens on click of 'Handover to Manufacturing' cannot be deactivated, as this is a necessary requirement in the standard design of the 'Handover to Manufacturing' feature in Maintain Bill of Material Fiori App.

The behavior of this feature cannot be changed with any modification or custom fields. This is a current SAP Standard behavior.
