Application error occurs when trying to upload attachment in PM Form.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

1. Open any PM Form and try to upload attachment.

 

 

2. But an application error shows up when trying to upload the file.

 

 

 

1. This issue occurs because Document Management Service Vendor has not been configured properly. Navigate to Admin Center > Configure Document Management and notice that no vendor has been configured.

 

2. You have enabled Enable OpenText Integration in provisioning, but you have not configured a cloud storage vendor, or it is not configured properly, or selected "SuccessFactors" as vendor in "configure document management".

OpenText option in provisioning: Enable OpenText Integration (Requires “Enable the Attachment Manager” and “Enable Generic Objects”) (Warning: this feature is for third-party storage provider OpenText integration only) 

 

In provisioning, select only "Enable Attachment Manager" to enable document management with SAP SuccessFactors.
To enable OpenText solutions for SAP SuccessFactors, select "Enable OpenText Integration" in addition to the first setting.

Refer to below two options on how you can configure document management:

Option 1:

If you decide to use SuccessFactors as vendor, disable "Enable Enable OpenText Integration" in Provisioning > Company Settings. In "Configure Document Management", choose "SuccessFactors" as vendor. More details refer to the guide here: Enabling Document Management

• • As a customer, you do not have access to provisioning. To complete tasks in provisioning, contact your Implementation Partner. If you are no longer working with an Implementation Partner, contact SAP Cloud Support.
    

Option 2:
