3304641 - Unable to use an attribute containing brackets in it's name, in a CTX tag condition

• We're allowed to use Brackets in the product and attribute names.
• But when we try to use a condition that contains an attribute with a bracket in it, then we're getting "Unknown tag" error.

SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ

1. Go to Setup
2. Look for any Product
3. Rules and Messages tab
4. Add Rule
5. Try to build a Condition containing CTX tag.
6. When we use an attribute that has brackets or parentheses in it's name, we get error "Unknown tag".

• We should avoid brackets in the naming of attributes if we want the attributes to be to used in conditions.
• All other characters in CTX tag are allowed, except the brackets.
