3305005 - Unable to edit slot in SmartEdit - SAP Commerce

Symptom

After migrating from an older version of Commerce (<1811), some components on Accelerator-based storefront cannot be edited on SmartEdit.

The problem can also be seen when implementing Custom CMS Components on Composable Storefront or even Custom Storefronts.

  • E.g.: The "Drag-and-drop", "Move", "Edit", "Exclude" icons above the referred components are missing.
