3305857 - Inventory-Managed Logistics Area Above Already Exists In The Location Layout : Error Message

You are trying to add child logistics areas under one of your logistics areas. While saving you get the error message <Inventory-Managed Logistics Area Above Already Exists In The Location Layout>

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Supply Chain Design Master Data work center.
2. Navigate to the Locations view
3. Search and select the relevant location under which you are planning to create the child logistics area.
4. Choose Edit Layout button.
5. Select the logistics area under which you want to create child logistics area.
6. Choose the button Add Child Logistics Area, and enter the relevant details.
7. Select the Save button.

You get the above reported error.

The Inventory Managed flag is selected for the logistics area under which you are trying to create child logistics.

You can create child logistics areas under a logistics area which is not Inventory Managed.
