3305948 - Documents attached in multiattachmentselection fields in the Candidate Profile are not synchronized to the Application

Files uploaded in a custom multiattachmentselection field on the Candidate Profile are not visible in the Application in Late Stage Application.

Prerequisites:

There is a custom multiattachmentselection field configured in the Candidate Profile Template and in the Application Template. The field ID is the same in both templates. Both the Candidate and Recruiter have write permissions to this field in the default status.

1. Go to candidates and search for a Candidate
2. You will see 1 or more files in the multiattachmentselection field  
3. Click on “Forward to Requisitions”
4. Click on “Search”   
5. Select a Job Req
6. Click on “Forward to Selected”
7. Open the application page
8. The file(s) is(are) missing

System limitation. 

It has been confirmed by Engineering and Product Management that for "multiattachmentselection" type, that the its contents are not synching between Candidate profile and Application.

This happens either when a candidate applies, or when forwarding any candidates using the option "Forward to Requisition" to either status "Forwarded" or "New Application", forwarding of mentioned field type's content is not supported in our product even though for that field forward-intact is set to true in the Application template for the destination Job Requisition. 

There is already an internal enhancement request to change this behaviour. Please reach out to your CSM and provide the reference ticket RCM-116514 to get updates on it. 

When the forwarded candidates apply to the Job Requisition they have been forwarded to, the content of the "multiattachmentselection" field type becomes visible to Recruiting operators. It is best practice anyway to get candidates to apply to Job Requisitions, therefore this can be used as a workaround as well. Another workaround is to give Recruiting Operators the correct permissions to download attachments from the candidate profile and upload these to the application. 

Configuring the field as "multiattachment" instead will not work as it is not supported in the Candidate Profile Template.
