3305992 - Employee Basic Import error: "Exclude Assignment ID Column from the User Data Template" option is checked in the Platform Feature Settings admin tool

After an Employee Basic Import, email notification shows the following error:

TROUBLE SHOOTING

Errors:

1.The following users were not imported or updated because the "Exclude Assignment ID Column from the User Data Template" option is checked in the Platform Feature Settings admin tool.

1. Go to Import Employee Data
2. Select Import Data
3. In "select an entity" choose "Basic Import"
4. Browse the correct file
5. Import

Email notification is sent to the user with the error message.

You notice the option "Exclude Assignment ID Column from the User Data Template" under Platform Feature Settings and it is actually unchecked.

Assignment UUID column is present in the import file.

Remove the assignment UUID column from the import file. This value does not change for existing users, so removing it will not cause any issue.
