3306043 - When a table or chart is exported in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) the numerical values don't contain the correct number of decimal places

• A table is added to a story in SAC
• The table is formatted to display two decimal places
• When exporting the table to CSV or Excel the numeric data is rounded to two decimal places instead of the actual amount of decimals the data has

• SAP Analytics Cloud  2023.2.5

1. Create a story and add a table 
2. Add a dimension and a measure that contains more than two decimal places
3. Format the table to display two dimensions
4. Export the table to CSV or Excel format and you will see the export contains only two decimal places

• This is due to the export being done on the client side
• When the table or chart is rendered the rounding of the number is done server side and sent to the browser
• When the export is done on the client it only has two decimals to export

• If all the decimals are needed in the export the decimal formatting in the table needs to be changed to display all the decimal places
