3307081 - Unable to add Assignment to Business Transactions for Account Assignment Types

When attempting to add a row to Assignment to Business Transactions, the Add Row button is grayed out.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Select Overview.
3. Search for and open the Business Configuration activity Account Assignment Types.
4. Click Maintain Account Assignment Types.
5. Select the the line PRFT.
6. Click Assignment to Business Transactions.

Result: You cannot add row.

Standard Account Assignment Types cannot be changed.

This means you cannot change which Business Transactions it is used for. The Business Transaction Assignment can only be changed for Custom Account Assignment types. This is the correct system behavior.

Profit centre will be derived from Cost Centre, which is already assigned to Supplier Invoice and Purchase Order. The Account Assignments can also be changed to make the Profit centre mandatory for the other Account Assignment Types that are already available for Supplier Invoice and Purchase Order.
