3307099 - Not possible to edit a Derived Business Role - SAP S/4HANA Cloud

When trying to add a Business Catalog or a Restriction to a Derived Business Role, the change buttons are greyed out/not available.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Go to "Maintain Business Roles" app.
2. Open the Business Role.
3. Click on "Edit" button.
4. The change buttons will be greyed out (Such as "Remove" and "Check Dependencies" buttons).

The values defined in the Leading Business Role can't be changed in the Derived Business Role. It's not possible to make changes in the basic settings such as access restrictions and assigned business catalogs directly in this role.

Use the Leading Business Role to make the changes and the changes will be reflected into the Derived Business Roles.
