3307152 - How to Configure the Sequence of Time Valuation Results displayed in the Time Sheet UI

You wish to change the order that the Time Valuation Results are shown in the week summary area in the Time Sheet UI.

The Time Valuation Results showed in the week summary area in the Time Sheet UI are shown in a random order, however this logic can be configurated.

To control the order of the Time Valuations (Time Type Groups) to be displayed in the Time Sheet UI, it is necessary to sort it using the Time Type Group external code ordered by an alpha-numeric value.

 

For example, let's say that do exists three Time Type Groups (TTG A, TTG B, and TTG C).

In the Time Sheet UI, you want to display it in the following order: TTG B, TTG C, and TTG A.

 

For this case, you may have the external code of the Time Type Groups as: 1 TTG B, 2 TTG C, and 3 TTG A.

Then, they will be displayed in the required order in the Time Sheet UI.

 

Please consider the following example:

1. Scenario with two Time Valuations (Overtime Sunday and Overtime Saturday);

 

2. It is required to show in the Time Sheet UI as:

• 1^st: Overtime Sunday
• 2^nd: Overtime Saturday

 

3. Change the External Code of the Time Type Group with an alphanumeric character in an order:

   a. Since “Overtime Sunday” is required to be seen in first place, add “1” in the External Code:

 

   b. Since “Overtime Saturday” is required to be seen in second place, add “2” in the External Code:

 

4. In the Time Sheet UI the Time Valuations are shown in the required order:

• 1^st: Overtime Sunday
• 2^nd: Overtime Saturday

 

Obs.: Notes that these configurations are custom ones and need to be set as per customers needs. The screenshots provided here are only an example of SAP internal system and need to be adjusted based on each customer requirement.
