3307178 - Error Occurs when Posting Goods Receipt Based on Inbound Delivery Notification

Following error occurs when posting goods receipt based on Inbound Delivery Notificaiton(IDN).

"Error during delivery update
-----> The action FINISH is not possible. Refresh the screen and try again. If the problem persists, report an incident.
-----> The total number of serial numbers must be the same as the quantity for product XXX."

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to Inbound Logistics Work Center.
2. Go to Inbound Delivery Notifications View.
3. Search for IDN YYY.
4. Choose Post Goods Receipt.
5. Fulfill the fileds: Actual quantity, Target Logistics Area ID.
6. Choose Save and Close, then the error occurs.

The IDN YYY was created when the Serial Number Profile was <Mandatory on all Logistics & Production Processes> for product XXX.

However, the product profile is now <Optional Serial Number Assignment>.

You have two options.

1. Fulfill the Serial Number for Product XXX during posting goods receipt based on the IDN YYY.
2. Cancel the IDN YYY and re-create a new one.
