3307215 - Not able to create sales Org Unit , Error: Instance with same key(XXX) already exists

You are trying to create sales Organisation unit with specific name but system throws error message as

"Instance with same key(XXX) already exists "

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Administrator - General settings
2. Org Structures - click New
3. Choose Org Unit
4. Fill all the mandatory fields
5. Save the Org Unit

Error : "Instance with same key(name(X)) already exists " 

The error message occurs due to default value for field 'Valid On' in advanced filter.

The org unit name(X) already exists in the system with a validity period between 01.01.1000 to current date(e.g. 31.01.2023)
When you open the advanced search in UI, there is the field 'Valid On' defaulted with a date which lies after the validity end of this org unit. When you try to search along with 'Valid On' value nothing will found.
When you enter a date like e.g. '01.01.2022' in the 'Valid On' field, then the org unit is found.
