3307760 - Failed to log on to BI Admin Tool due to missing allowed.cms setting

Symptom

  • The following error occurs when trying to log in to BI Admin Tool：

           Account Information Not Recognized

           Could not reach CMS 'localhost:6400'. Specify the correct host and port and check for network issues, please refer to SAP Knowledge Base Article 2151044 on the SAP Support Portal. (FWM 20030)

           Re-enter your user name and password, and click Log On.

           If you are unsure of your account information, contact your system administrator.

  • Meanwhile, the login might be working well when performing login BI launch pad or Central Management Console (CMC) with the same login information.
  • The issue may start from the system has been upgraded to:
    • SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.2 Support Pack 09 Patch 12
    • SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.3 Support Pack 02 Patch 9
    • SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.3 Support Pack 03 Patch 1
