3308325 - How to check the application log when failing with warehouse task creation - SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Symptom

There is only error message shown when failing creating warehouse tasks. Below steps show how to check the application log.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

The warehouse tasks can be created with multiple applications like Run Outbound Process, Manage Outbound Delivery Orders, Change Inbound Deliveries, Warehouse Monitor. 

Resolution

Option 1: Warehouse Monitor (APP ID /SCWM/MON)

  1. Go to APP Warehouse monitor.
  2. Navigate to the node Tools -> Application Log, double click and enter Object as "/SCWM/WME" and Subobject as "WHS_TASK".
  3. Execute.

Option 2:

Please use APP Application Logs to find the whole warehouse task creation log.

  1. Go to APP Application Logs(APP ID F1487).
  2. Enter the selections: Category as /SCWM/WME Extended Warehouse Management, Subcategory as WHS_TASK Warehouse Task. 
  3. Then set other selections like timestamp for more accurate information.
  4. Click the "Arrow" icon at right side of the items, then you can find the detail log of warehouse task creation.

Please note that the Application Logs app is a reuse service that is used within the Application Jobs app. To navigate to the Application Logs app, select the corresponding icon in the Log on the initial screen of the Application Jobs app.
