3309098 - Error when using AMQP Adapter with Azure Event Hub

Symptom

  • You attempt to use AMQP Sender adapter to consume messages from Azure Event Hub but the iFlows goes into an error state and throws the following error -
org.apache.qpid.jms.provider.exceptions.ProviderOperationTimedOutException: Remote did not respond to a drain request in time
  • You may also see the same message getting consumed repeatedly by the sender adapter
  • Alternatively, if you configure the AMQP adapter with only the name of the Queue in the 'Queue Name' parameter (under the processing tab) the iFlow may enter an error state with the following message:
javax.jms.JMSException: Invalid EventHub address. It must be either of the following. Sender: <EventHubName>. Partition Sender: <EventHubName>/Partitions/<PartitionNumber>. Partition Receiver: <EventHubName>/ConsumerGroups/<ConsumerGroupName>/Partitions/<PartitionNumber>.
