3309248 - Cannot Select the Scoping Question "Do you want to enable creation of Promotion in C4C in an Integration scenario?"

You need to create promotions in C4C and need to adjust the project scope, when you select the scoping question "Do you want to enable creation of Promotion in C4C in an Integration scenario?" you see the following details " This is deselected by the system."

 SAP Cloud For Customer

1. Go to Business Configuration Work center.
2. Go to Implementation project view.
3. Click on Edit Scope.
4. Go to Review Questions tab.
5. Expand Sales Campaign.
6. Expand Promotion Management.
7. Click on Promotions.
8. There you will see the question "Do you want to enable creation of Promotion in C4C in an Integration scenario?".
9. Under dependency tab, you can see over explanation "The elements listed below have caused the automatic selection or deselection of this element."

This question can only be enabled if question "Do you want to replicate promotions from an external application to your cloud solution?" is enabled.

To resolve this, follow the steps below:

1. Go to Business Configuration Work center.
2. Go to Implementation project view.
3. Click on Edit Scope.
4. Go to Review Question tab.
5. Under Communication and Information Exchange, expand Integration with External Applications and Solutions.
6. Expand Integration into Sales, Service and Marketing Process.
7. Expand Promotions.
8. Search for question "Do you want to replicate promotions from an external application to your cloud solution?" and enable it, then you can now enable the other scoping question "Do you want to enable creation of Promotion in C4C in an Integration scenario?".
