3309356 - Extension Field Unavailable in Production Order

You create an extension field EXT1(where EXT1 is the extension field) in Product Portfolio to extend to several view and forms.

However you find that the extension scenario Production Request - Output Item Information to Production Order - Output Item Information is missing.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Product Protfolio workcenter and  Materials view.

2. Open any material and click on View All

3. Enter Adaptation mode

4. Right Click on a field from the General Tab, then click on "+Extension Field"

5. Create a new field, or select an existing one, then click on "Further Usage"

6. Navigate to the Extension Scenarios tab

Here you can see the following scenario related to production:

- Material - General Information to Production Proposal - Output Item

- Production Proposal - Output Item Information to Production Request - Output Item Information

- Production Proposal - Production Proposal Output to Production Request Planning Details - Requested Material Output

- Production Request Planning Details - Requested Material Output to Production Requests - Material Output

However, there is no extension scenario for the Production Order object

There is Extension scenario from Material to Production Proposal-Output Items but there is none which goes forward to Production Request/Production Order.

Currently the scenario to Production Request/Production Order is not available in the system.

This would need to be registered as a new requirement in our Influence Portal ( https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#campaign/886 ),

so other users can upvote it and it may be considered for future system releases based on demand and technical feasibility.
