3309722 - You Cannot Find Any Communication Scenario Related with Product Design Replication A2A Web Service

You want to use the Product Design Replication A2A web service, which is described in the API Business Hub. Unfortunately you cannot find this communication scenario under Communication Arrangements View.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Application and User Management Work Center.
2. Navigate to Communication Arrangements View.
3. You cannot find any related communication scenario under this view.

The prerequisite questions are not marked in Business Configuration.

You would have to adapt the scoping as following steps in order to make the communication scenario and its interface available.

1. Go to Business Configuration Work Center.
2. Navigate to Implementation Projects View.
3. Select the relevant Implementation Project and choose Edit Project Scope button.
4. Navigate to the third step Scoping. 
5. Expand the element Product Development.
6. Select the option Product Engineering by marking the checkbox against it. 
7. Expand the option Product Engineering and scope the checkbox against Engineering Design Integration.
8. Navigate to the fourth step Questions.
9. Expand Product Development -> Product Engineering and select Engineering Design Integration.
10. Scope the checkbox for the question "Do you want to transfer data from external engineering systems by means of Web-based services?" in top right.
11. Scope the checkbox for the question "Do you want to transfer data from external engineering systems by means of XML files?"
12. Scope the checkbox for one question of Group: How do you want to handle product designs generated from third-party CAD systems? based on your bushiness.
13. Choose Next, review and confirm the Implementation Project. 

You will be able to see the communication scenario <Engineering Design Integration> under Communication Arrangements View.
