3310357 - Missing 'Enable Macros' Button in CO Planning Transactions Using MS Excel

Symptom

  • After upgrading to the latest version of MS Office, the option to run macros (the button 'Enable Macros') is missing from the security confirmation pop
  • up, preventing planning via Excel. 
  • Errors such as "Standard document interface is not available (SOFFICEINTEGRATION016)" or "Error XXX occurred during macro execution (SOFFICEINTEGRATION230)" are encountered during CO object planning with Excel.
