Symptom
Creating super admin user from Provisioning returns the error: Exception in creating an admin user:Wrapped Exception: SQLException thrown SAP DBTech JDBC: [260]: invalid column name: USERS_SYS_PRONOUNS
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Reproducing the Issue
- Partners/Customer Support try to create a super admin user in Provisioning
- Company Settings
- Add the required data.
- And click save and the error appears:
"Exception in creating an admin user:Wrapped Exception: SQLException thrown SAP DBTech JDBC: [260]: invalid column name: USERS_SYS_PRONOUNS"
Cause
Database Error
Resolution
- Go to Provisioning.
- Manage Schedule Jobs.
- Create new job.
- Job Name: (any text which can identify this job)
- Job Owner: (usually the system admin / super user)
- Job Type: Company Schema Upgrade Job
- Rerun Options: the XML file name, example: add_permission_for_ect_benefits_admin.xml
- Occurrence: Once
- Click button: Create Job
4. Run a job of the type of Company Schema Upgrade Job.
5. From the Manage Scheduled Jobs page find the job you just created.
6. In the column Actions click the Select button.
7. Choose Run it Now.
