3310959 - Posting fails due to invalid value of Custom Field

Error Value &1 of field &2 is not valid raised on posting for custom field using example app Post General Journal Entry (App ID F0718)/Upload General Journal Entries (App ID F2548), external APIs like the SOAP Operation JournalEntryBulkCreateRequest.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Post Journal Entries using app Post General Journal Entry (F0718);
   OR
2. Upload Journal Entries using app Upload General Journal Entries (F2548);
   OR
3. Post Journal Entries using API Journal Entry - Post.

Before the CE2302 release, validation for custom fields of type "Amount with currency", "Quantity with unit code" and "List" threw an error if the values were not valid.

Since CE2302 release, SAP validation API is called differently by the application and therefore, the validation throws errors also for custom fields of type “Association to Custom Business Object, “Association to Standard Business Object” and “List based on CDS View” - in case the values are not valid.

It is necessary to correct the values mentioned in the error message for the affected custom fields.
