Symptom
When creating or importing a report on the Ad-Hoc framework for a Succession Management domain an application error is received.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development
Reproducing the Issue
1. Go to Reporting Center
2. Create a table or tile report
3. Select one of the three Succession reporting domains
4. Select create
5. An error message appears
Cause
This may be caused due to incorrect configuration of the matrix1placement or matrix2placement portlets in the Succession Data Model.
Example: The data-field "xAxisStartDate" should be configured with field-name "dfld1", however you have configured it as "vfld4".
Resolution
Check the configuration of the matrix1placement or matrix2placement portlets in the Succession Data Model against the supported code provided in the Wiki article below or use the default configuration mentioned in the Admin Guide.
Wiki - Matrix Grid Reports - Matrix Grid Placement History portlets
Admin Guide: Configuring the Data Model to Store Matrix Grid Placement History
Note: If there is no issue with creating the report but still issues with importing the report, you should verify all field configuration in the Succession Data Model and the Position Object are the same.
