3311232 - After transport a Connection from another Tenant, the option to share credentials is not working properly - SAP Analytics Cloud

Symptom

After transport a SQL Connection, the credentials are not shared anymore, the following message appears: "User credentials will not be shared when this connection is shared with others." 

Subsequently prompts for user credentials opens when trying to run all the related import jobs. 

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud 2023.2.6

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to SAP Analytics Cloud Tenant.

  2. Import a SQL Connection that initially has credentials shared with others.
  3. Go to the Connections > Open the imported SQL Connection.

  4. Notice that the setting will change to 'User credentials will not be shared... '. 

Cause

This issue is currently under investigation by Development.
