3311485 - Email Template Placeholders Are Not Converted Into The Actual Value

 Output e-mail template not working as expected where placeholders are not converted into the actual value.

Example: Service Order

1. Go to Service Order Workcenter
2. Navigate to Service Order Processing
3. Open Order ID
4. Click Edit
5. Click View All

Under Output History user can find the e-mail sent. User notices in e-mail Template placeholders are not converted into the actual value.

User should use an HTML Template. Check XML which is a good reference to see the structure and placeholder.

Every application area has a generic e-mail text body which variates between the application area like CRM, Finance etc.

User should use an HTML e-mail Template. If no HTML e-mail template is used, the SAP generic text will be used which is hardcoded in the backend.
