3311798 - Updating Key Value in Bulgarian (BG) Resulting in Question Marks "?????" (Manage Languages) - Recruiting Management

When updating a key value in Bulgarian, the system unexpected changes the custom label to question marks.

For example:

Key Value: RECRUITING_READ_AND_ACCEPT_DATA_PRIVACY_STATEMENT

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

The behavior occurs due to the file Unicode that does not support the Bulgarian characters.

When importing the file into the system, make sure to select a valid Unicode, such as UTF-8.

A good approach is to open the exported file in Notepad++ and change the Unicode in the Encoding tab.
