3311867 - Error:Ship-from location does not belong to site

Symptom

You are creating  Return to Supplier and want to change the Ship from and you get this error

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  •  Go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center
  •  Go to Common Tasks: New Return to Supplier
  •  Select  the respective entry and click on Next
  •  In the following screen  you see that Site is not Editable
  •  and when you change Ship from you get error

Cause

Since we don't allow change of site as per our existing system.

Resolution

Send the quantity to the Site( or ship from location) appearing in the RTS screen and then finish the RTS
