3312084 - Popup for KPI Value Shows Wrong Report

You have created a KPI where the current value and the context report are different reports.

When you preview the KPI and hover over the current value, a popup appears with more details. However you notice that the report shown in the popup refers to the context report, not the report where the current value is taken from.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the work center Business Analytics and the view Design KPI.
2. Click on the respective KPI and click Preview.
3. Hover over the KPI value.

The popup shows the wrong report.

The popup is designed to show information about the context report. This is because we recommend that the context report should be selected so as to provide more 'context' to the KPI value. Ideally, the report and selection used for the KPI value and the context report should be the same.

You can include more reports for related information in the Additional Contexts tab while designing your KPI.

If you require the context report and the report for the KPI value to be different, you can disregard the popup.
