3312183 - Warning "XML stored with a newer BICS version (XML version 3.1, client version 3.0)"

Symptom

When you open an Analysis for Office workbook, below warning is displayed:

XML stored with a newer BICS version (XML version 3.1, client version 3.0)

(com.sap.ip.bi.bics.dataaccess.consumer.impl.base.StateDomParser-xml_old_version)

Environment

SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office 2.8
SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office 2.7

Reproducing the Issue

Open an Analysis for Office workbook on Analysis Office.

Cause

This is because the Analysis for Office workbook is saved or updated with Analysis office 2.8. When it is opened in Analysis Office 2.7, this warning message will be displayed.

Resolution

Please install the latest version and apply the latest patch of Analysis for Office. You can find the latest AO installer in wiki page: http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/x/j41IGQ.
