Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into C4C;
  2. Go to Sales Quote view;
  3. Go to Products facet;
  4. Paste the product from Excel file with format DD.MM.YYYY;
  5. Observe: Date got changed to 01.01.1970 after pasting the product.

Cause

01.01.1970 is the default date when there is no value pasted for a date field.

In this case, customer is using the wrong date format - DD.MM.YYYY.

So, the root cause of the issue is that the format in which the date is passed is wrong - it should be as follows YYYY-MM-DD e.g.: "2014-11-15".

Resolution

Kindly change the date format, it should be as follows YYYY-MM-DD e.g.: "2014-11-15".
