3312938 - "Test Printer" does not work in Cloud Print Manager for PI

After printing a test page by clicking the "Test Print" button in CPM for PI, the print request reaches the OS print queue but nothing is printed on printer level.

• S/4HANA Public Cloud
• Cloud Print Manager for PI (CPM for PI)

1. Select a Print Queue in CPM for PI.
2. Double click it to open its Print Queue Options.
3. Select a printer and click on "Test Printer" button:
    
   

The "Test Printer" button in CPM for PI will send raw PDF data to printer.

Some printers do not support such raw PDF data.

If this is the case, nothing will be printed by the printer.

Create a test page in Print Queue in the S/4HANA Cloud instead:

1. Open the Fiori App "Maintain Print Queues"
2. Select a Print Queue and click on it.
3. Click on "Create Test Page":
