3313020 - Adaptive Processing Server and WACS are in failed state and failed to start.

Symptom

Some APS and WACS are in failed state and failed to start.

Checking the trace log of the failed servers, the below error can be confirmed:

Fatal error: Unable to destroy server work directory: Drive:/SAP BusinessObjects/SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0/java/pjs/container/work\XXXXXXXX.APS.Core
