3313414 - A new location in a geo-dimension doesn't display in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• A story is created in SAC off of a planning model that contains a geo-dimension.
• The geo-dimension is manually populated.
• If the geo-dimension has more locations added to it they will not show up in a geo-visualization.
• They locations do show up in non-geo-vizualizations.

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2022.21.17

1. Have a manually created geo-dimension added to a planning model.
2. Create a story off the model and add a geo-vizualiation based off of the geo-dimension.
3. Save the story.
4. Edit the geo-dimension and add a new location.
5. View the story and see that that the new location is not displayed.

• Product limitation. Enrichment can only be done by the data wrangling process.
• The latitude/longitude property shown in the dimension member listing of the modeler UI is informational only.
• The technical geo-enrichment information is not shown in the UI.
• Modifying the latitude/longitude property value in the modeler UI will not invoke the Geo enrichment processor , and therefore the location in the geomap will not change.

• The suggestion is to go through the data wrangling process to add or modify any geo enrichment data in the model.
