3313472 - Input Products Displayed In Production Bills Of Material Master Data Are Different From Those Retrieved In Report.

When you check the master data of BoM ABC, there are X input products; however, check the same BoM in a report which created on standard data source "Production Bills of Material Variant and Assigned Line Item Details" (SCMPBOMU02), there are Y (Y>X) input products.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to work center Planning and Production Master Data.
2. Access view Production Bills Of Material.
3. Find BoM ABC, Click Edit.
4. Select tab Input Products, select By Reference Date in Filter Options, select a date in Reference Date, in the below there are X input products.
5. Go to work center Business Analytics.
6. Access view Design Reports.
7. Find report DEF (created on standard data source "Production Bills of Material Variant and Assigned Line Item Details" (SCMPBOMU02)), click Edit with Web Browser.
8. In Selection, enter ABC for filter BoM ID, click Apply, in the result there are Y (Y>X) input products.

Date source like SCMPBOMU02 will retrieve all related line items of BoM, because it has no filter like "Reference Date"  to display valid input products at a specific date.

You can use Multi-Level Structure or Multi-Level Visualization (in the screen "Planning and Production Master Data - Production Bills Of Material") to display valid input products of a BoM at a specific date and then export it into a local Excel file.
