3313677 - Dump Error When Trying to Approve Sales Quote Using Webservice

You have a sales quote and you are trying to approve it using a web service OR OData. You face a dump error when doing this.

It is NOT supported to approve a sales quote using web services. This is exclusively possible via the tasks created for the approver employees.

This is the current system standard behavior.

Considering the importance of an approval of a sales document and the revenue involved, the intended design here is to always have this manually done by a person in UI using the approval tasks generated by approval process. These tasks are not PSM-released either; the only possibility to approve a sales quote is via UI.
