3313708 - New SAP Cloud ALM User cannot logon or reset their password

Symptom

  • I cannot logon to my company's SAP Cloud ALM tenant, even though I received an invite email about tenant access.
  • New user has received an e-mail inviting them to access SAP Cloud ALM, but they cannot logon and the "forgot password" link does not send them a password reset e-mail.
  • New SAP Cloud ALM user encounters error "Sorry, we could not authenticate you. Try again" when attempting to logon.
  • SAP Cloud ALM user encounters error "Sorry, we could not authenticate you. Try again" when attempting to logon with credentials from another source (e.g. S-user logon credentials).
  • User received SAP Cloud ALM welcome email, but does not know what password to enter and "Forgot Password" does not send an email.
