3313779 - "max restart limit exceeded" during the execution of a DTP

Symptom

The execution of a DTP fails with the error:

Database returned the SQL code 129
transaction rolled back by an internal error: too many statement restart request: max restart limit exceeded

The error message comes from a custom routine in the Transformation when the HEX engine is enabled on the HANA Database.
