3313954 - Report Stories Radar chart - unable to put the maximum value point located at radar chart the outermost side

Symptom

In People Analytics Story Report, when we insert a Radar Chart under distribution, we could find it's unable to put the maximum value point to located at chart's the outermost side.

There will always be a space between the maximum value of the point and the outermost edge of the Radar Chart, the same can be also reproduced in Enterprise SAP Analytics Cloud Application.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

    • Analytics & Reporting (Ad Hoc, YouCalc, ORD)
      • People Analytics (Analytics Cloud for SF)
        • Query Designer - Filter, Calculated Column, Params, Radar Chart

Reproducing the Issue

1. Create a story report, and then go to the designer page.

2. Insert Chart and select the Radar Chart under distribution.

3. We could see it's unable to put the maximum value point to located at chart's the outermost side.

Cause

This is caused by each value cell is equidistant, the Radar Chart is designed to follow changes in values.

For example, when the maximum value is “312”, then the outermost edge of the Radar Chart should be extended to the next values of equidistant points, for example value "350".

Resolution

Embedded SAC views as all the lines are embedded, according to the same can be also reproduced in Enterprise SAP Analytics Cloud Application.

Currently this is an expected behavior for Report Stories, Radar Chart.
