3314241 - HSR setup error due to port issue?

Symptom

- During HANA System Replication setup is returns connection error to the primary site (remote host) on port 4<instance number>02 and 3<instance number>02.

- After executing the hdbnsutil sr_register.... command the following error returns:

unable to contact primary site host <primary site hostname>:4##02. Read-back of RequestId failed: Connection has been closed by peer. 
(Connection broken), location=<primary site hostname>:4##02. Trying old-style port.....

- From the OS level of the secondary host run command:

telnet <primary site hostname>:4##02

..returns successful connection result ' Connected to <primary site hostname>'

telnet <primary site hostname>:3<Instance no+1)02

..returns unsuccessful result '.... Connection refused'.

- On the primary host it can be seen the port 4##02 is listening, run command on primary site host:

>netstat –apn | grep 3<instance_no +1>02
>netstat –apn | grep 4<instance_no>02


Returns result showing the port listening on 4<instance number>02 but nothing listen on port 3<instanc no +1>02
