  • What is the meaning of "Waiting for native threads to be released, or for number of threads in syb_blocking_pool to be increased." messages ?
  • When using LDAP for user authentication, the ASE errorlog prints this message, which can be seen in large numbers:

    Waiting for native threads to be released, or for number of threads in syb_blocking_pool to be increased.
    (Message repeated <nnn> times in the past <mmm> minutes).
    -- where the number of repeated messages (nnn) and duration in minutes (mmm) vary from one message to another.
