Symptom

Upgrade the support package by SUM

SAPup_troubleticket.log shows the following error message

SAPup broke during phase SCANDIR_EXTRACT in module PREP_INPUT_CHECK / Parameter input
Error Message: Last error code set:
Calling 'vcredist_x64.exe' exited with incomprehensible code -1073741819

SAPup.ECO shows the following error message:
EXECUTING drive:\usr\sap\SID\SUM\abap\exe\vcredist_x64.exe /quiet /norestart /l drive:\usr\sap\SID\SUM\abap\log\VCREDIST.OUT
SAPup> Process with PID ***** terminated with status -1073741819 at datetime!
