3314908 - SAP GUI has inconsistent File Open, Save/Save As behaviour during execution via automation

Symptom

  • You are using the SAP Intelligent RPA to automate a SAP GUI for Windows application/Transaction
  • During execution SAP GUI displays a Windows style file picker window as below
  • Execution of the automation cannot proceed as the automation cannot interact with the native Windows dialog window
  • Execution on the bot only works in Attended mode and fails in unattdended mode
