You have made changes like price to the existing active list price , however you don't see those changes in the changes tab
SAP Business ByDesign
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to product portfolio work center
- Click on list prices view
- Select and edit existing active list price
- Change the price to some new value and click on save
- Go to changes tab
- You will not see the price changes at all
- however you can see the change in price history tab as expected.
Since new list price is created thus changes happened to existing active list price does not appear in the changes tab .
If you update active list price then system creates automatically a new list price, which you can see under all list prices and then you can release it
If you update active list price and you check mark "change the past list price" then no new list price is created and thus you will see all changes in the changes tab
Refer below SAP Help Portal
Updating List PricesWhen you update a list price that has the Released status, the system creates a version of the list price using the current date as the Valid From date. Once you have finished updating the list price and release it, you then have two list prices: the updated list price with the current date or date specified by you as the Valid From date, and one list price with the date prior to the new Valid From as the new Valid To date. You can also update past list prices. If you select the Change Past List Price check box, you can only change the price, price scales, and the list price description. You cannot change the valid from/to dates. The changes in price are therefore only displayed on the Changes tab page. When you update a list price that is in the In Preparation status, the system updated the list price and does not create a new version of the list price. The List Price becomes inactive once its validity expires. The expired List Price does not have any implication on Purchasing documents.NoteIf in the product master data the product category that is specified in the list price has changed, the system automatically updates the product category in the list price.
