Symptom

  1. When executed command below on Primary database :
    Alter table table_name
    modify column_name varchar(<N>)
    go

  2. DSI stopped with error

    ERROR #1028 DSI EXEC(136(1) Target_server.Target_db) - neric/dsi/dsiqmint.c(nnnn)
    Message from server: Message: 9502, State 28, Severity 16 -- 'Data exception - string data right truncated
