3315544 - Missing functionality to divide section

Symptom

  •  In CR 2020 and all previous versions it was possible to split a section directly by pointing the cursor (left click) in the left side ruler dragging up and down the cursor to the point of the cut.

Environment

  • SAP Crystal Reports 2020 SP02, SP03

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open report in the Design mode
  2. Left-click cursor on the edge between left ruler and report canvas
  3. Drag the cursor to the right
  4. In previous versions it was cutting the section and not anymore

Cause

It was regression issue

Resolution

The fixes were delivered in the following versions:

  • SAP Crystal Reports 2020 patch2.12
  • SAP Crystal Reports 2020 Patch 3.4
  • SAP Crystal Reports 2020 SP4
