Symptom
"default values were used while importing new user record for users" message in email notification after importing employee data.

Reproducing the Issue
Do employee data import then you receive an email notification stating this message:
“default values were used while importing new user record for users: [XXX, XXX, XXX]. ”
Cause
Provisioning > Company Settings -> "Assign default required field values for new users if none specified" is checked.
Because this option is enabled, default "null" value will be saved in database for these required fields if they are blank in import file.
Resolution
If you have already input all the required fields in the import file, and still you are encountering this issue, then high possibility is that you have changed field's attribute for "required" recently so due to the cache issue you are still having this message.
But when you import again, you would not encounter this message.
