3315965 - MPR Error: 9191 when primary alternate connection using different maintuser - SRS

Symptom

  • This is Multi-Path Replication (MPR) setup
  • create alternate connection for primary uses different <maintuser> than the primary connection, Rep Agent restarts report the following error:
    •  server  Started Rep Agent on database, '<primary_database>' (dbid = 4).
       server  Error: 9191, Severity: 20, State: 1 server  Sender for database 4 has received a different maint user. Sender will be   terminated.
