3316024 - Error 1105: Can't allocate space for object 'syslogs' in database 'sybmgmtdb' - SAP ASE

• sybmgmtdb database has separated data/log devices and error 1105 is being reported in the ASE error log:
  
  Error: 1105, Severity: 17, State: 4
  Can't allocate space for object 'syslogs' in database 'sybmgmtdb' because 'logsegment' segment is full/has no free extents. If you ran out of space in syslogs, dump the transaction log. Otherwise, use ALTER DATABASE to increase the size of the segment.

• The threshold procedure sp_js_history_thresh, if implemented, reported the following error message as well:
  
  background task error 19099: Procedure sp_js_history_thresh, Warning the free data space threshold in database sybmgmtdb has been exceeded. Segment default has 947 free pages, attempting to create space by cleaning job history and output.
  background task error 19103: Procedure sp_js_history_thresh, History (rows): current 164714, target 115299. Output (rows): current 150522, target 75261. Free space (pages): current 947, target 1076.
  Space available in segment 'logsegment' has fallen critically low in database 'sybmgmtdb'. All future modifications to this database will be suspended until the transaction log is successfully dumped and space becomes available.
