When adding new patterns such as for Decimal, Date, and Currency in References > Manage Labels > Locales > Locale record > an error is presented.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

The Last Update User is null in the database and needs to be set

1. Go to References > Manage Labels > Locales
2. Search and edit the Locale
3. Go to the Pattern tab that is showing the error
4. Select Apply Changes without making any changes

Now proceed with adding in the new pattern and the error will not occur.
